Presently we have 100 or more Word Documents stored as
blobs in the database, after we install SP3 the people
using these documents get security messages each time
they open a template document (using PowerBuilder ole).
Changing security setting is not an option on these
desktops. In some cases I believe they may be having a
problem opening the document.
Is a digital signature the only cure? Can we at the
source of creating these documents sign the documents
without third party involvement? Is there a selfcert.exe
(tester exe to sign documents personally supplied by
Microsoft) type of functionality we can use?
