Space problem saving large file

I am trying to save a 4MB file to a network drive with 12GB of space. I have
1GB RAM, my network shows my space is unrestricted. Has anyone else come
across this problem - are there any suggestions of other space restrictions I
may be missing?

Difficult to offer an opinion or advice without knowing what kind of message
you're receiving? Version of Office involved? Of Windows? Are you able to save
to the local drive?
