Spacing between navigation bars

Q

Quiltcrazd

This is my first web design using Publisher 2003. I am trying to make the
navigation bars the capsule style, but they all run together. It just looks
like one large box with scalloped edges. (The navigation bars are on the left
side.) Is there a way to add space between each line so it looks more like
individual capsules with a word in each capsule? Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

To my knowledge there is no way to adjust the spacing between the buttons as
long as the navbar is connected to the Publisher navbar wizard as all the
elements that make up the navbar are grouped together. If you select the
navbar and go to Arrange > ungroup then all the elements can be moved
around, resized and space added. But, and it is a big but, if you do ungroup
the navbar from the wizard and you want to add another page you won't be
able to automatically add another button and link to that navbar and have it
propagate through out your publication. You would have to insert a new
wizard navbar before adding a page. So, either live with the spacing, use a
different navbar, or if you are sure that you have added all the pages to
your site, then you can ungroup the navbar and change the spacing.
