Spacing is 1.5 lines but result doesn't look right

Hi there, I'm working on my thesis. Prof wants 1.5 lines spacing, but the result doesn't look right. It looks like a lot more. What am I getting wrong? Here are some screenshots:

Just see this image, you can understand how to give line space of 1.5
