It used to be, though, at least for the first hours. I did manage to download it. Should I intall it? Should I wait? There's no information from Microsoft about that. If the software was available and then was removed, it should be an official explanation for that move.

The Spanish upgrade was not ready for release on Tuesday, but it is coming
as soon as possible. I would not install the one you managed to download.

No: Delete it!! If you run it, you risk completely trashing your Office
2008 system.

It's not ready, and should never have appeared :)

Cheers

Hi,

Since I installed it in the first place -before I kew it was to be removed- I'd like to know what "you risk completely trashing your Office 2008 system" means. Does it refer to the Mac OS or just the Office suite.

Thanks in advance,

Antoni J.

"Remove Office" just removes Office files.

Just Microsoft Office -- I hope :)

They would only post and then "pull" an update if it caused some fairly
catastrophic problem. But as far as I am aware, the death and injury should
be confined to Microsoft Office.

Cheers
