spanish version of office 2008

Hi, I´m using the tryal version of the office 2008 for Mac, in english. I need it to be in spanish before I decide to purchase. If I cannot install it in spanish it´s not interesting for me.
I´ve seen the spanish update 12.1.9, but I´m not sure if this is what I look for, and it needs the 12.1.0 before.
Does anyone know how can I install the office suite in spanish?

I don't believe a Try & Buy version was made available in Spanish -- if it
had been you should have been able to select that rather than the English
variety. The trial version is fully updated when downloaded & the different
language updates can only be used with the respective language versions of
Office. IOW, the Spanish update can't be applied to the English version.

I understand that there is no spanish version available for the office 2008, am I right?
if this is the case, it is a pity, but I will uninstall the software. I know there is a 2004 spanish version, but do not know where to find it.
Also, I have read that the 2008 installs thousands of exe files, and not all of them are removed when uninstalled. is it right? how can I safely uninstall?

No, that's not true. There is no *trial* version of Office 2008 in Spanish;
the retail version exists in Spanish, too. You will have to buy a physical
copy of the Spanish version, as opposed to activating the English-only trial
version and turning it into a full copy.

That may be true for the Windows version of Office, but there is no such
thing as .exe files in the Mac version of Office. If you want to uninstall
the trial version, use the Remove Office application that you can find
inside the Microsoft Office 2008 folder (under Additional Tools>Remove
Office).
