Speaker symbol

Can anybody tell me how to remove speaker symbol (icon) from the sliding
show. The sound is from a microphone.

Drag it off to the side of the slide. You won't see it during the
presentation.

I discovered thanks to you that you only mark the symbol and use "delete".
Then it is away. The sound is there left. But you gave me the idea ....
