Special characters

Hi,

Doing a presentation in powerpoint in 5 different languages. The files are
prepared in Photoshop. Does anyone knows how to get special letters for these
languages both in Powerpoint and Photoshop? Letters like e with an accent or
a c with a squiggle under.

Use the Character Map from windows

Start => All Programs => Accessories => System Tools => Character Map

Then you can search for the character you want. The code at the bottom
(Keystroke Alt+0233) will yield the character in PowerPoint. Note that when
you use these codes, you must hold the Alt key then use the numberpad keys
to type the numbers.

What Bill said.
You can also use online translation such as Altavista's Bable Fish
Translation to translate into different languages if you ever need them
(perhaps for conveniency). It works well if you are translating a few words
or phrase. Not suitable for one whole sentence or paragraph though.

If you are using PowerPoint version 2003, try the International Character
Toolbar:

It opens a small window for each language you choose, where you will find
the special characters.

For Photoshop I don't know a similar add-in.
