Special need for a pivot table report

Dear Excel Experts,

I have a special need for a Pivot Table report:

I have a pivot table where one colmun contains text
messages. The Pivot report I want to create is a table,
where the main table cells show the actual content of
these text cells that fit to the row and column criteria,
and not a numeric operation on these cells, i.e. I would
get a table filled with text entries.

Is this possible? Help would be very much appriciated!

The only thing you can do with text in a pivot table is
to count different values
