speech function and accuracy/vocabulary updates

I am using Microsoft Office 2003.

I am wondering if the speech recognition function can update its vocabulary
(and increase accuracy) by reviewing all of my files and emails and updating
its vocabulary that way.

I am also wondering if when I add a new word to the vocabulary and train it,
if I have to type it, or if I can spell the word using speech into the
vocabulary box.
