In the help dialog there is supposed to be an option to allow new words to be
entered from an entire document ("learn from document" option)

this option is supposed to come up from the "speech tools" menu nut it does
not appear on me speech tools menu.....

can anyone help/clarify

First remember that many office menus are context sensitive.

Open a document in Word.
Click in the document.
