Speed opening forms Access XP

My forms are extremely slow to open in one of my Access
2000 (XP) databases. I've done everything I know to speed
them up, but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions? It
seems to be slow at the very beginning, not when running
through the VB behind the forms. Could it be because I
have several forms with similar names?

Check to see if you have Name Autocorrect turned on in your database
options. If you do, try turning it off and see if that makes a
difference.
