Outlook 2000. If you are working in an e-mail that Outlook has decided
should be in HTML Spelling Check does not work. If you select Tools ->
Spelling Outlook instantly goes into a loop, never to finish. The only way
you can recover from that state is to KILL Outlook from the Task Manager. (I
have let this run for more than 12 hours - Outlook never did return or
finish. While this is going on Outlook is using 99%+ of the CPU.)
Once you re-start Outlook you will find that there is no Draft version of
your letter in existence.
Outlook has behaved this way since Outlook 2000 was released. Every machine
in our company does this. Does Microsoft have any patch for this issue?
