You can either make sure you have Spell Checking as you type, or you
launch a check manually,
Make sure the language you need is properly selected for your text.

You should really provide more (a lot more) details if you want a more
precise answer,

question was worded couldn't resist the temptation ;-)

Now if he had worded it "how do I spellcheck? I wouldn't have had the
