Spell check misses spaces between words?

Any ideas?

Had a few problems with spell check in Word, now fixed except it doesnt pick
up all 'extra spaces' between words - some but not all? I deliberatly put an
extra space in to see if it will pick up, but no? Any ideas - regards Robin

Spell check doesn't check spaces between words at all. Grammar check can be
set to check for extra spaces *at the ends of sentences* but not between
words in general.
