Spell Check not working

When using Word 2002 on a XP platform I can not get spell check to work. Grammer check works fine but not Spellcheck. When I choose "TOOLS" and "OPTIONS" and then go to Spelling and Grammer tab, the writing style menu only offers 2 choices. One is grammer and the other is grammer and style. How do I get the other choices on my computer and how do I make this application work? I have already uninstalled and re-installed Word

It might be upset that you are misspelling "grammar" :)

Rather than reinstalling Word which is a blunt and ineffective method,
inspect by our setup options to see if all the Proofing Tools are included.

Please also report which files are in the folder \Program Files\Common
Files\Microsoft Shared\proof.
