spell check not working

My office word 12 do not seem to pick up any error in spelling. My default
language setting is English. I don't get why it is not picking up any
mis-spelled words. Can Anyone help?

If you have Office 12 (beta) shouldn't you be asking about it or reporting
on it in the beta newsgroup?
