Spell check subject line

I saw that a post was made in October as a suggestion to Microsoft that the
email spell checker should also check the subject line. Does anyone know if
that has been addressed or when it might be.

Last time I checked (about 5 minutes ago) Outlook 2003 does spell check the
subject line

Thanks very much. Is there a way to make it check as I type, the way it does
in the body of the message (with the red underline)?

I don't know. I guess if you use word as your editor, it only applies to
the message field
