Hi, Ellen.
Can Access underline misspelled words like Word?
No. Access is not a text editor. It's a programming environment where
objects and variables can be named _anything_ that's legal syntax, so
enforcing correct spelling on these names would make Access nearly useless as
a tool for building databases.
Or does one have to check
each misspelling one by one?
Yes.
We have a lot of technical words that aren't in
Access's dictionary. I'd like to be able to easily skim past those technical
words.
Add these technical words to the Custom.DIC file. The default location for
this file is the C:\Documents and Settings\<UserName>\Application
Data\Microsoft\Proof directory.
HTH.
