Spell checking issue

G

GRSA

I had a presentation that had two words
Effectiveness and Effeciency. Effeciency is spelled incorrectly but the
spell checker did not pick up the miss-spelling. I tried the same word in MS
Word and it showed that it was not spelled correctly, in other words Word
worked as it should Effeciency is spelled Efficiency. I am not sure if
Powerpoint uses the same dictionary as Word or a different one.

GRSA,
Hmm, that is strange, effeciency is picked up here, PPT 2003.
And you are sure you did not inadvertently add effeciency to your custom
dictionary in Word?

Just worth noting--if the word was in all caps, might not have picked up the
spelling error. There's a setting in the spellcheck to skip all capitalized
that's enabled by default.
