Spellcheck Before Sending

Seems that when I reply to what appears to be plain text email messages, the
"Ignore original message text in reply or forward" doesn't work. Is this
simply a limitation of plain text messages?

Are you prefixing the original message with a character per line (like '>')?
If so, the original message will get checked

only if you use > (or other character) to identify quoted material.
