Spelling and Grammer checker complete when It isn't.

Hi, I have microsoft office student teacher edition 2003 and have all the
latest updates installed.

A few months ago the spelling and grammar checker worked fine, but now it
won't pick up obvious mistakes. MS word is set to English (UK), however my
Fujitsu Siemens Laptop has a Welsh keyboard setting, but this never caused
any problems in the past.

I have typed in word "Why wont word speel cheque and grammer werk." which
should pick up spelling & grammar mistakes, but all a window tells me is "The
spelling and grammar check is complete", even if I do Ctrl+A first.

i have also ran the detect & repair feature.

For the proofing tools to work correctly, the correct language (and not "Do
not check spelling or grammar") must be applied to all the text. See
