Spelling checker file name

What is the name of the file that MS Word 97 uses for the user-defined
spelling
checker (i.e., for the words that I accept as OK but that are not recognized
by Word's default spelling checker)? I want to back up this file.

Custom.dic is the default name. See under Tools>Options>Spelling &
Grammar>Custom Dictionaries
