SPI and critical path

I'm currently monitoring SPI at the task level using a formula/stoplights.
This works fine. How can I represent via stoplights any impact a red or
yellow SPI may have to the critical path, that is, a delay to the project
completion date.

Give the final task milestone a deadline date. If anyting pushes it out, the
amount of negative Total Slack on that task is your push.

I hit post too soon. If you have a baseline set, you want to look at the
Finish Variance field

If I have multiple baselines saved, which one does the Finish Variance field
evaluate against?

It calculates against the Earned Value baseline set under
Tools/Options/Calculations (tab). There you will see a button called Earned
Value.
You may select the baseline of your choice for the calculation.

As Jan said, the default is Baseline without a number.

Hi,

To avoid confusion: as the question was haw is finish variance calculated?
that is always from Baseline, there is no option to do it through one of the
other baselines.
