Spinbutton in Access

I have used spinbuttons on forms in Word quite often and I find them very
useful particularly for changing dates but there doesn't seem to be any
equivalent option available in Access. I have created my own one that I use
on a form but I was wondering if there are any available (that would look a
bit better than my rather clumsy looking version). Why would they be provided
in Word as standard and not in Access?

In access, form design, more controls toolbar button, select the UpDown
control - it's the equivalent. Why they didn't name it the same I don't
know...

Susan, are there any links on how to get this to work in A2K or A2K2? Most
things I found related to VB and I'm having trouble with the buddy and
autobuddy settings. Thanks.

Phil here

I have looked at the Updown control but my goodness it is quite different
to the spinbutton control. I have tried to click on help but to no avail. It
tells me that msdn resources are not installed!!! I cannot find any
instructions how to make it work anywhere. I tried the updown button in Mark
Chouteau's db but it seems to be his own version. I can do that myself but I
would rather use the control provided if possible. Can anyone point me to
instructions or a help file that I might find useful.

Thank you
