Split cells next to 1 cell

Hi,

I have created 1 cell.
I split this cell in to 2 rows and in the second row i split the cell in 2 columns.
In the second cell of these 2 new colums i then devide it again in 2 rows and then the issue occurs that i can't enter anything in the first column.
Please review my attach picture of the setup.

What could be issue here or does Word just not support this kind of splitting?

Check the cell margins and paragraph formatting - you've probably done something that means any content you insert into the affected cell is outside the cell borders.
