I am fairly new to access and have the responsibility of an existing db. It is in a multiuser environment with web access. Currently it is not split and lives on a network drive. My next step is to split the db and have the FE on each client and the BE on the server.. However, it seems splitting the db will create problems with the Data access pages. Right now I am using queries to combine several tables with parameter quries and operators on fields within the query. It seems that I if I split the db, only the tables will be available to the web. I also notice thatwhen I split the db and try to design a DAP, the fileds within the tables dont expand ( I cant see the fields). With my experience level, I hope its just that - inexperience- and that I am overlooking the obvious.
