Split form does not display on subform

I have a Split Form that is on tabbed form; butwhenever I try to view the
form it doens't show the datasheet form element.

But if I open the form on its own, it will show the corresponding datasheet
form element. Does anyone know if it is ok to place a Split Form on a tabbed
form?

check that it is not on a continuous form. I think split forms are only
allowed on single forms. The tabbed aspect of your form should not make any
difference to whether it shows or not.
