Split screen

Many times I want to look at two different files to compare to each other but
dont like clicking between document tabs, I like to keep them on two seperate
screens. I know by opening an entirely new excel screen I can split them
between screens, but is there anyway to do this while only having one excel
application open?

Sure.

In EXCEL 2007 take the following actions:-

1. Launch EXCEL.

2. Open the file.

Now reduce it by hitting the Restore Window button (towards top right hand
side).

The file should now appear on the screen but will not fill all of it.

3. Now open your second file and it should appear, in the same EXCEL
session, alongside the other window that is already open.

Yeah this is an option, but doing this keeps the screens very small. I want
to be able to do this but then drag the minimized version to a second screen
and maximize it again, using both screens, is that possible?

Nick, I think the answer to that is no (unless you start another session and
you did not want to do that).

Please hit Yes if my comments have helped.
