Given: 100 hours to a job.
GIVEN: 80 hours go local teams and 20 go to "offshore" to
be worked on.
ASSUMPTION: we have no way of knowing how the offshore
task will be distributed on an every-day basis.
The 20 hour task to offshore needs to be broken off
into "x" number of parts by the owner of the task so that
they can charge time to those parts..."on the fly".
EXAMPLE: Lets say I'm the manager receiving the 20 hour
task. I want to break the 20 hour task into 2 sub-tasks
(TASK_20A and TASK_20B) and assign them to two of my 15
teams. Is there a way to allow the owner to split the
task after we have assigned the 20 hour task to him?
(umm...without having to create a new task at the 100 hour
level).
