Splitting attachments in Outlook 2000 SR-1

Hi there,

I'm running Outlook 200 SR-1 on Win2k. I'm trying to send
a 6.4MB file and it is too large for the recipients e-mail
service.

I can't find the 'split up attachments' setting. Is there
such a thing in Outlook?

No, alas, there isn't, not natively - don't know of a third party utility.
Note that email was really not designed as a good file
attachment/delivery/storage utility. If you can't zip the file down to a
manageable size, you may need other methods - perhaps an FTP server you can
upload to/download from?
