splitting one cell only

Hi,

After I create a complicated table, I may want to add a
row in the middle of just one of the columns only (not
across all columns). Can I do this? I have tried split
cell and add row, but it seems to go across all of the
rows.

If you have selected a single cell, only that cell should be split.
