Spooler Error - Cannot Create Resource Account

After publishing a project I receive an error saying
The manager cannot create the resource account (0x8C040017)

I definately have the appropriate rights to create accounts. Can anyone
help?

Hello Wendy.

Did you check whether the rights are denied in Admin/Server configuration?
If it is denied here it is valid for every user, even the admin.

Do you have rights to create accounts in every RBS hierarchy?
You should check the RBS you added to the resource.

This error is due to local resources being published to the project server
with the workgroup set to default. Open the properties of the local
resources and change the workgroup to none. Your projects will then publish.
