Spooler Error

After I have installed Project 2003 Professional SP1 and Project Server SP1,
I am continuously getting this spooler error for New and Changed
Assignments.

There is a hotfix from Microsoft for this problem-

I called up the support phone nos and they are saying that this would be a
paid service and we will have to bear the charges for fixing the bug!!
This is weird
