I'm receiving a spooler error on a specific resource in our pool when saving
projects. The message states: "The Windows user account or user name for the
affected user account conflicts with an existing account on the server".

We are using MSP 2003 SP1.

Any ideas?

Scott, it appears that you have a loval resource on your project that has the
same name than one of your enterprise resources. Please identify the local
resource and rename this resource. the spooler error should not appear
anymore afterwards.
Hope this helps

Marc,
I checked both projects that we are getting this error on - and
there are no local resources on the plan. The resource in question is defined
only once and is authenticated using a unique Windows ID. The resource pool
has her defined only once and there are no duplicate ID's on the table.
Everything looks OK on this.

Any other ideas?

sorry Scott, this is typically what the spooler error represents. Did the
resource in question had anything done to it? ( e.g. change of names, email
address ) or alike?
Thanks
Marc

No - nothing has changed on this person on the resource pool. I
double-checked the projects and no local resources exist. At this point it is
a minor nuisance - I guess we just live with it ??
