I get this error spoolsv.exe has not started when I boot
up the PC. I uninstalled Office XP then uninstalled the
drivers and printers for the HP LaserJet 1000 printer
which gets rid of the error. Then I reinstalled Office XP
and all of the current updates then I reinstalled the
LaserJet 1000 driver and software plus the update and
about a half an hour later the spoolsv.exe cannot start
error happened again. I repeated the above steps minus
the updates for both Office XP and the HP LaserJet 1000
and haven't had the error since. It has only happened
with the HP LaserJet 1000 printer and none of the other HP
printers. Has anyone else heard of this conflict, if so
is there a patch? Thanks.
