Spreadsheet Crashes After Trying to Change Text Color

I'm running Office 2007 Excel under Windows Vista (32 bit) with the SP1
installed on 12/10/08. Excel crashes if I try to change the text color of a
number.

If I first click on any cell and do any style change, the spreadsheet
becomes "inoculated". I can then change the text color with no problems.

I believe that the SP1 introduced this error.
