I am using Excel 2003 as part of the Student and Teacher
edition.
When I load a spreadsheet over the network that is 2.3 MB
I experience a hang or a long period loading the sheet. It
will take up to 3 minutes to load the file.
When I load the same file on an Excel XP machine the file
is loaded in 2-3 seconds.
I am using Norton Anti-virus and have turned off autoscan
and receive the same results. All machines are of similar
ssize and memory. This is not happening with just one
machine. All of the Excel 2003 machines experience the
same lag times
some advice on how to speed up the process would be
