spreadsheet of owc11 is too slow

I'm delelopping a web application with owc11 spreadsheet embedded in IE,when
the spreadsheet is formatted such as filling color or setting
alignment,refreshing the page or switching to other page will be very
slow.Such lagging doesn't happen on spreadsheet of owc9,this made me very
confuse.why this happen and how to solve?

The fix for this is to disable the event mechanism on the spreadsheet (set
allowevents to false).
