Spreadsheet Size

I've been working with a finance spreadsheet through out the financial
year. I expected the file size to be approx 150 Kb. The file size is 23
Mb. I've run it through several virus checkers without incident however
there is obviously something else that can cause it because i have
it. Can anyone suggest what i should be looking for?

The first thing to check, press Ctrl + End, should select the last
cell in your sheet, if you don't get the last cell with data you
should select everything from there down/across
If the real last cell is E400 while ctrl end takes you to V15000 or
something
like that, then select from row 401 down (ctrl shift down arrow), do
edit>delete, save workbook,
then select F:IV (ctrl shift right arrow), edit>delete and save. now close
and re-open it
Post back if that didn't help
