Spreadsheet won't recalculate

I have a 25MB spreadsheet that has stopped recalculating newly entered
formulas. If I enter =A4 into a cell the value from A4 is not returned but
shows =A4. All previously entered formulas work its just the new ones that
fail. Any ideas?

Check the cell format... if it is text then change it to GENERAL
then edit the cell and press enter...

Hi,

Make sure the cells aren't formatted as Text.

If you see formulas for all the formula cells rather than their values
choose Tools, Options, View tab and uncheck Formulas.

Finally, check Tools, Options, Calculation and make sure you are on Automatic.
