SPS Upload Documents

Good Day,

We are Using Web Access 2003.
I am loading multiple documents to SPS using the "View and upload documents
in all projects" facility.
My Problem is that when using this facility and selecting, Owner (ME),
Status (FINAL), these fields are not populated to the document register.

When this is done using the browse facility, Owner (ME), Status (FINAL), the
data does get populated.

Please let me know if a fix is available.

When you upload multiple documents, Sharepoint does not pre-populate the
Owner and Status fields the way you wish. Therefore, you must edit the
Properties of each document to set these two field values. This is not a
bug; it is by design. Hope this helps.

Suggestion: you can create a datasheet view showing those fields you need to
mass edit and also set the option in the view to ignore folders. This will
make it much easier to drag and drop and set those properties on all your
documents.
