SQL DESKTOP NOT CONFIGURED(?)

K

I am a dummy.
I chose all the defaults when loading BCM.
The SQL icon on my taskbar says "not connected." I assume this is the root
of my issues within Outlook.
I have no idea of what to do.
Stand alone desktop. Lots of HD and RAM. One week old Dell. Dynamic DSL.
Thanks,
Bob

Bob:

Have you created a BCM database yet? From the main menu, click on Business
Contact Manager, Database Tools, Create or select a database. If there is
an entry in the Database Name dropdown, then you have a database and you can
click Next. If you get an error, let us know what it says exactly. The
Computer Name should be the name of your PC.

Also, if you right click on the SQL icon, does it give you an option to
Start SQL?

Thanks,
Lon
