Hi,
I need to update some actual finish dates with information from another
system for a number of tasks. These tasks will be identified by a custom
field containing unique numbers which will be our key field.
I have read the pjdb.HTM file which gives loads of information and suggests
it will alll be fine, but as always the proof is in the pudding.
1 question springs to mind for people who know more than me :
If the finish date is populated, will all other fields be updated
automagically (% complete, duration, start date if applicable etc.)? And if
so, how and when - once opened by a client session?? If not, what are the
default rules for making changes to the start date and the duration etc.
based on the finish date (as per default processing when this information is
entered through MS Project client)?
