SQLSERVR.EXE Uses all resources; how to return to "regular" OL 200

Just installed the licensed version of Office 2007 and find that sqlservr.exe
is eating from 50% - 80% of my system resources constantly, making t
virtually impossible for me to do anything. I understand from other threads
that this has something to do with using OL with Business Contact Manager. I
don't see any advantage of BCM over "regular" Outlook contact folders and
would like to return to "regular" OL 2007 without BCM. Unfortuantely, I
think, when I installed Office 2007, the only OL available on the disk is OL
with BCM. What are my options for solving this problem? Thanks!

If you just installed, it could be that BCM is auto-linking e-mail and taking additional resources. Once this process is complete,
resource usage should drop to much lower levels. You can also adjust the Auto-linking by going to the menu "Business Contact
Manager | Manage E-mail Auto-linking..."

Thanks, CLinton. "Just installed" means several days ago. However, system
resources do seem to be back to relatively normal usage levels. Meanwhile,
I've discovered the database sharing capacbility of BCM and am now in love
with the fact that my laptop contacts now stay in synch. So I hope now that
I don't have to make the decision to get rid of BCM. Is that possible, BTW?

David,

You can share your desktop BCM database and connect it from laptop.
Additionally, you can set the database for offline use. When you connect to
desktop database from client, you will see option to set it offline.
The offline functionality allows you to take your business contact manager
database on the road. You can work with this data like you would on desktop
database. When your laptop BCM detects connection to desktop BCM database,
it will automatically sync the data.
