Square connector type in VISIO 2000

Connectors I draw between shapes always appear as a straight line and I am
not able to make it a square one. How can I change the type of the connector
once drawn and how can I change the default type?

I am using Visio 2000.

(when I am using 2003 I am able to change it to square, but under 2000 it is
one big question mark to me)

Oooh, man - I'll try off the top of my head, but I can't remember Visio 2000
exactly. Some places to look:

File > Page Setup. Is there a "Layout" tab in this dialog?

Toolbars - it seems to me that Visio 2000's layout & routing toolbar had a
whole bunch of buttons for altering connectors.

ShapeSheet. Select nothing, then go to Window > Show ShapeSheet (as a last
resort). There are a bunch of user cells that govern how connectors behave,
or there might be a Page Layout section. I can't remember when it was
implemented.
