SSRS, SharePoint Integration and Cube Building

Hello

I have set up Project Server 2007 on Windows Server 2008 and MOSS 2007 using
SQL Server 2008. Right now everything runs on this single server.

I have come across an issue where I cannot build cubes in Project Server and
use SSRS in SharePoint Integration mode due to the 2008 version of
rssharepoint.msi updating the 2005 management objects.

Does someone have a workaround to this?

Thank you in advance.

There are 2 scenarios: with SSRS in SharePoint Integration mode and without.

I can follow the instructions in the document at
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=93743 and get things running fine.

I install the 2008 version of rsSharePoint.msi to enable SharePoint
Integration mode and cube building fails with the error: Failed to connect
to the Analysis Services server <<<servername>>>. Error: Cannot connect to
Analysis Services version...

I can correct the issues by uninstalling rsSharePoint.msi and reinstalling
the 2005 Analysis Management Objects files. This removes the SSRS SharePoint
integration I was attempting to install.

The 2008 rsSharePoint.msi installs the 2008 version of Analysis Management
Objects.
