Stacked assignment chart?

Hi,

I'm using MSP Server 2003 & MSP Pro2003. I'm trying to
get a view that shows a column/bar chart showing the
workload assigned to a single project broken up on a
weekly basis. Each bar should be divided up to show each
resource's contribution to that week's total workload. Is
there anyway to do this on either the Server or the
desktop software?

Thanks

Hi,

I followed the instructions in the FAQ and I was able to
get the combined totals for all the people. Now is there
a way to show each resource's contribution to the total?

For instance, If the total work for a given week is
40hours. 'Bob' has 10h assigned, 'John' has 20h, 'Sue'
has 5h, & 'Ron' has 5h of work on the project. Can I get
the graph to stack each resources workload so the chart's
bars are color coded for each person. So for the week it
shows a red section for the 20h that belong to John, a 10h
section in yellow for Bob, etc...

Am I just better off exporting the data to Excel and using
the graphing functions there? This project is published
on Project Server 2003. Can I do this through the
Portfolio Manager on the server? I haven't had much time
to get the Portfolio Manager completely working yet.

one is closing down!<<
I would if I could... I don't use a newsgroup reader and I
get here through the MS Support website using IE. The new
newsgroups have not been setup yet on the internet access.

Thanks,
Jason

Sorry, Jason, this is the best you can get from Project :( Exporting to
Excel is your best bet as Excel is designed just for this :)
