Stacked bar chart and Line

I would like to creat a stacked bar chart with a percentage line layed over
it. I beleive this will require 2 axis. I have been able to creat a bar chart
with a line. I wouldlike to brake up the bar in to a stacked bar to show the
details that make up the total.

Right-click the chart and Change Chart Type. Choose Stacked Column Chart.

Then right-click the one data series and choose Change Chart Type. Choose
the Line Chart.

Now you have the stack and the line.

Right-click the line and choose Edit Data Series. Choose Secondary Axis.

Sorry I can't be more specific -- hard to do without knowing which version
of PPT you're using.

I am running PPT 2003. right click doesn't give me the option to change chart
type. if i select it from the top bar the entire chart changes to line

you have to select the specific series and choose change chart type. this
changes just the selected series to a line.
