Standard Deviation Across a field

I want to calculate standard deviation across a field .
I have 5 columns Life1, Life2,Life3,Life4,Life5
How can i calculate stdev among these 5 arguments.

Create a union query to normalize your data:

Select Life1 as Life
From tblYourUnNormalizedTable
UNION ALL
Select Life2
From tblYourUnNormalizedTable
UNION ALL
Select Life3
From tblYourUnNormalizedTable
UNION ALL
Select Life4
From tblYourUnNormalizedTable
UNION ALL
Select Life5
From tblYourUnNormalizedTable;

You can now create a standard totals query based on the union query that
calcs the standard deviation.
